BILINGUAL (SPANISH) LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

We’re currently seeking a full-time entry-level legal administrative assistant to provide our firm’s attorney and legal assistant with administrative support. Work hours must be flexible. This is a perfect opportunity for a hard-worker with superior organizational skills, and who is interested in learning and growing in a fast-paced work environment. This entry-level position allows individuals who are interested in family and general practice law, but who do not have the full amount of necessary training, to get their feet wet; from there, it will be up to you how far you go.

In this dynamic boutique law firm, you will be able to gain invaluable work experience supporting our legal and administrative team. You will be working in-person in our Elizabeth, New Jersey office.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • The candidate must be able to maintain client files in an efficient and effective manner;
  • Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system;
  • Directing and coordinating law office day to day administration activity, including but not limited to delivery of subpoenas, answering the phone, sending emails/faxes, reviewing the office email and regular mail, etc.;
  • Keeping law diary/calendar up-to-date by monitoring court dates, adjournments, and court conflicts;
  • Constant review of the office email account;
  • Professionalism and the capability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality along with being able to interface effectively with clients, attorneys and other professionals;
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment, while prioritizing and adapting to quick changes and remaining diligent through each task performed;
  • Dedication to integrity;
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Google Docs and other related Google office features;
  • Experience with remote video conferencing platforms, i.e. Zoom, TEAMS, Google Meets, etc.;
  • Must be energetic
  • Must be have valid driver's license and must have a car or way of transportation in the office.

While this position comes with tremendous growth opportunities for the right candidate, some prior office experience is preferred but not required.
