Job Description
Bilingual Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor/Intern
Sol Case Management is seeking a qualified Bilingual Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor/Intern to assist return-to-work efforts for workers who have sustained an injury on the job. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license.
- Review referral information to determine appropriate vocational rehabilitation services to assist clients in returning to work.
- Evaluate clients to determine eligibility and need for vocational rehabilitation services; develop and implement individualized vocational plans. Review medical, vocational, psychological, and other relevant records.
- Coordinate vocational rehabilitation services with medical providers, referral sources, family members, employers, and other relevant parties.
- Apply knowledge of Washington State, federal, and company policies related to return-to-work services to effectively advocate for clients.
- Meet with clients to gather relevant history and identify potential psychosocial barriers impacting return-to-work outcomes.
- Provide vocational counseling and advocacy to help clients identify realistic and achievable employment goals.
- Assist clients in accessing appropriate community resources to reduce or eliminate barriers to employment.
- Administer vocational assessments to evaluate academic levels, aptitudes, and vocational interests.
- Support clients with job placement services to obtain gainful employment.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports, or as requested by the customer.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including case notes and coding, to justify services provided and track case progress.
- Monitor vocational rehabilitation services and medical treatment progress to support timely return-to-work outcomes.
- Travel to meet with clients, medical providers, employers, etc.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
