Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Bilingual Special Education Teacher, located in Doha, Qatar. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering individualized education programs for students with disabilities, teaching the middle school curriculum, and employing various teaching techniques to accommodate diverse learning needs to prepare young adults with disabilities to transition to the workplace. The teacher will also collaborate with other professionals, communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, and maintain detailed records of student progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified Special Educator with experience in Vocational Training
• At least 3+ years of Experience in Special Education and Disabilities
• Experience working with Children or Young Adults with Disabilities
• High proficiency in Arabic and fluent in English
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education
• Relevant certifications in Special Education
• Strong communication, planning, and classroom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and therapists
