Bilingual Teacher Assistant (Spanish/English)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Teacher Assistant (Part-time, M-F, 7:30am - 12:30pm) to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach young children in both English and Spanish, with a special focus on introducing and reinforcing Spanish language skills. If you are enthusiastic about early childhood education and want to help shape young minds in a multicultural learning environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans in Spanish.
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes children's language development, social-emotional growth, and academic learning.
• Use creative methods such as songs, games, and stories to teach and reinforce Spanish language skills.
• Collaborate with Head Teacher and staff to ensure consistency in curriculum and support the school's overall mission.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that aligns with licensing standards and health and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Child Development OR CDA
• Valid teaching credentials for early childhood education.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English with the ability to teach Spanish to preschool-aged children.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool children in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for fostering bilingualism and multicultural education in early learners.
