Bill of Material Sepcialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bill of Material (BOM) Specialist to join our Inventory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining master structure files, Item Master data, bills-of-material and associated databases of information in addition to resolving issues related to item changes, new items and project issues.

Essential Job Functions:

*Maintain Item Master data, including product codes, material files, new product code creation, product updates, obsolete figure numbers and part numbers.

* Assist with problem solving on long-term projects.

* Research new products and production methods.

* Test structures with various functions such as product availability, work order creation and used inquiries for thoroughness and accuracy.

* Respond to reports of part problems, resolve discrepancies working with internal company personnel to resolve problems and/or specify new parts.

* Implement Engineering Change Notices updating work orders, master files and bills- of-material affected by changes.

* Create structure trees for products showing all component parts using product drawings from engineering or in response to special orders from customers.

* Maintain and update log of master numbers for parts.

* Structure all OEB work orders generated by customer orders.

* Identify and report problems or difficulties to department supervisor.

Pay: $906.00 - $1,193.00 per week
