Job Description: Supermarket Billing and Cashier

Position: Billing and Cashier Executive
Location: Metreo Centre Hypermarket, Kannur

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, customer-friendly Billing and Cashier Executive to manage all transactions accurately and efficiently at our supermarket. The candidate will be responsible for handling cash, operating billing machines, assisting customers during the checkout process, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately handle cash, credit card, and digital transactions at the billing counter.
• Operate billing machines and scanners efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer queries and resolving complaints politely and promptly.
• Balance the cash register and generate transaction reports daily.
• Keep the checkout area tidy, organized, and welcoming.
• Collaborate closely with sales and inventory teams to manage stock levels and pricing updates.
• Report discrepancies or issues immediately to supervisors or management.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cashier or billing executive (Minimum 1 year experience working in any supermarket).
• Basic proficiency in billing software and digital payment systems.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy hours.
• High integrity and trustworthy with handling cash and sensitive customer information.
• Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
