Billing Account Manager (Healthcare Revenue Cycle)

Job Overview
We’re looking for a Billing Account Manager (internally known as a FOCUS Account Manager) to join our growing revenue cycle team. You’ll act as the main point of contact (internally) for a set of outpatient physical therapy clinics, managing their billing performance from claim submission to payment posting.

This position combines relationship management with hands-on billing oversight — perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, data accuracy, and helping clients succeed.

Responsibilities

• Review daily claims, rejections, and denials for assigned accounts.
• Work within established workflows to ensure timely resolution and clean claim rates.
• Post payments and adjustments accurately to maintain balanced ledgers.
• Identify patterns in denials or rejections and escalate issues internally for correction.
• Collaborate closely with other members of the Focus and Posting teams to meet turnaround and quality targets.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the billing system.
• Support process improvement and QA efforts within the department.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in medical billing, collections, or RCM (preferred in outpatient or therapy settings).
• Strong understanding of EOBs, denials, and payer workflows.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience using EMR or billing systems (Systems4PT, WebPT, or similar platforms a plus).

Pay: $40,000.00 - $41,000.00 per year
