Billing & Collections Officer

About the Role
Beyon Connect is seeking a highly organized Billing & Collections Officer to support and strengthen the operational effectiveness of the Client Experience (CX) function.
The Billing & Collections Officer will be responsible for supporting revenue collection activities related to the eKey 2.0 platform. The role ensures accurate invoice issuance, timely collections, financial reconciliation, and alignment with contractual billing rules and governance standards.
This position plays an important role in maintaining financial discipline, improving cash flow, and ensuring operational efficiency across our private and public sector billing streams.
Core Responsibilities
1. Invoice Management

Issue invoices in accordance with contractual billing rules and approved pricing.

Validate billing engine outputs before invoice generation.

Maintain invoice tracking logs.

Coordinate with Finance for accounting alignment.
2. Payment Follow-Up & Collections

Monitor invoice due dates and proactively follow up with clients prior to and after payment deadlines.

Manage the accounts receivable lifecycle for all eKey-related billing.

Issue formal payment reminders in line with company policy.

Escalate overdue accounts internally and externally where required.

Coordinate with Finance on aging reports and cash flow tracking.

Ensure contractual billing terms, including any applicable late payment conditions, are reflected accurately in the billing system.
3. Reporting & Governance

Prepare monthly revenue reports.

Support internal audits and financial reviews.

Highlight discrepancies or potential revenue leakage.
What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Understanding of invoice lifecycle, revenue reconciliation and billing.

High attention to detail and structured working style.

Proficiency in Excel and digital tools

Comfortable working with enterprise systems (CRM, financial systems).

Strong follow-up and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple client accounts.
