What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities
As our Billing Coordinator, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of our billing processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing patient billing with accuracy and timeliness.
- Handling insurance claims, including submissions, follow-ups, and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintaining organized financial records and ensuring compliance with billing regulations.
- Assisting patients with billing inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborating with the team to optimize billing workflows and improve efficiency.
- Posting payments from EOBs and ERAs.
What We’re Looking For: Skills and Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 1 year of experience in a billing or similar administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in billing software and EMR systems (Eclinical Works preferred, but not required)
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Bilingual abilities (preferred, but not required).
