Billing Coordinator

JOB FUNCTION:

The Billing Coordinator is responsible for preparing and disseminating all agency billing; performing daily data entry into Excel billing workbook; assisting with Adult Life Enrichment (ALE) program participant admissions; and assisting the Chief Financial Officer.

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:

Chief Financial Officer

PRIMARY WORK HOURS:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with flexing of hours as conditions demand.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Demonstrated master-level Excel skills and data entry skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Two years clerical experience

· Bilingual preferred but not required

AREAS OF MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AND PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:

Agency Billing

· Ensure accuracy of documentation submitted to billing department for individual participants

· Prepare monthly billing for adult life enrichment program participants (non-AACOG funded)

· Enter and submit weekly billing to AACOG for adult life enrichment program participants

· Enter and submit monthly billing for the CLASS case management program

· Maintain a tracking system for the CLASS program billing that can be used to reconcile claims and payments from our records to the state’s

· Communicate with the CLASS Program director and case managers regarding rejected claims

· Re-submit rejected CLASS claims at the earliest opportunity

· Submit monthly billing summaries by program to the CFO

· Enter and submit account receivables for CFO

· Code accounts payable for CFO

Adult Life Enrichment Program duties:

· Track units used and remaining balances for ALE-funded participants; keep families informed by written notification of balances when necessary

· Communicate with ALE Director and associate directors addressing issues and concerns about documentation and billing

· Assist with new participant admissions, by verification of funding and enrollment status.

· Be available for special projects relating to the extraction and summarizing of program data (demographics, revenue, etc.)

· Other duties as assigned.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
