Job Overview
The Billing Coordinator is responsible for preparing, processing, and distributing monthly client invoices while ensuring accuracy and adherence to billing deadlines.
The Billing Coordinator works closely with attorneys and staff to coordinate the billing process, make billing revisions, generate final invoices, and assist with various billing-related administrative tasks. While prior legal billing experience is not required, the successful candidate must have strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to learn and become proficient in our billing software and processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process monthly client billing
- Generate draft invoices and distribute them to attorneys for review
- Make attorney-requested billing revisions and edits
- Generate and distribute final client invoices
- Monitor billing deadlines and ensure timely completion of monthly billing cycles
- Review invoices for accuracy and consistency
- Prepare pre-bills for attorneys to review prior to closings; generate final bills as requested
- Assist with billing inquiries from attorneys and staff
- Answer client questions regarding bills; process credit card payments
- Perform other administrative and accounting-related duties as assigned

- Strong basic math and numerical skills

- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Comfortable working in a highly professional environment
- Prior billing, accounting, bookkeeping, or law firm experience is a plus, but not required
Position Details
- This is a full-time position.
- Billing Coordinator may work out of any of our Connecticut offices, which are located in Simsbury, Glastonbury, and Cheshire. Willing to entertain partial remote schedule.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
