Billing Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Billing Engineer with a strong background in high-rise towers and luxury villa developments within the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing project billings, coordinating with site and commercial teams, and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. Site mobility and interaction with clients and subcontractors will be a regular part of the role—thus, a valid UAE driving license is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit RA (Running Account) bills, final bills, and subcontractor bills as per contract terms and approved drawings.
• Review project BOQs, drawings, and specifications to ensure precise quantity take-offs and billing.
• Verify work executed on-site against billing claims for high-rise buildings and luxury villas.
• Track project progress and integrate billing with actual site execution timelines.
• Prepare variation orders, reconciliation statements, and cost reports for management and clients.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, site engineers, and clients for approvals and certifications.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, FIDIC standards, and local UAE regulations.
• Maintain updated records of certified quantities and support documentation for audits.
• Collaborate with the procurement and commercial teams for budgeting and forecasting.
• Regular site visits across UAE projects - UAE driving license mandatory.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing with exposure to high-rise residential/commercial and luxury villa projects.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, billing procedures, and cost control.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Primavera).
• Excellent numerical accuracy, reporting skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English and Hindi
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience working with Tier-1 contractors or consultants.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, ADM, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal skills for client and subcontractor coordination.
