Billing Engineer (Civil)

Key skills and qualifications

· Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is typically required.

· Software proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with billing and project management software are essential.

· Technical skills: Knowledge of quantity surveying, cost estimation, and bar bending schedules is crucial.

· Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle complex calculations and billing discrepancies.

· Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

· Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of all billing and financial records.

Core responsibilities

· Quantity take-off: Study the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and extract quantities from project drawings.

· Billing preparation: Prepare and submit accurate RA (Running Account) bills for clients and subcontractor bills based on site progress.

· Verification and certification: Verify bill quantities against site measurements and work done, and get bills certified by clients and internal managers.

· Rate analysis: Analyze and apply item rates based on tender documents, material costs, labor, and overheads.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
