Billing Engineer (Civil)

We require a detail-oriented and experienced billing engineer to be based at our Mumbai office (and travel across sites for bill checking). The ideal candidate will cross-check and validate all billing-related activities across various project sites. This includes verification of subcontractor billing to ensure compliance with project contracts and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Verify and cross-check contractor bills submitted from all project sites.
Validate subcontractor bills against work orders, BOQs, and site progress reports.
Help in purchase bills and ensure materials delivered match approved purchase orders.
Coordinate with site engineers, the purchase department, and the accounts team for clarifications and corrections.
Maintain billing records, reports, and ensure timely submission to the management.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and GST/taxation norms.
Raise discrepancies and recommend necessary corrections proactively.
Support project audits and financial reporting processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
5-7 years of experience in billing and estimation in the construction industry.
Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of contract management, rate analysis, and cost estimation.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple project sites’ data simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
