Billing Engineer – Real Estate

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Billing Engineer to manage and control all billing, measurement, and certification activities across our real estate projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate quantity measurements, timely billing, cost control, and coordination with internal teams and contractors as per approved formats and contractual terms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, verify, and process RA bills and final bills for contractors and vendors.
• Measure quantities as per drawings, BOQs, and site execution; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain and update measurement books (MBs) and billing records.
• Ensure billing is done strictly as per approved formats, contracts, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, and contractors for bill certification.
• Track work progress vs. billing and highlight variances or discrepancies.
• Assist in cost control, reconciliation, and budget tracking.
• Prepare statements for material reconciliation, extra items, deviations, and variation orders.
• Support audits by maintaining complete billing and measurement documentation.
• Ensure timely submission and approval of bills to avoid payment delays.
• Monitor subcontractor billing, rate analysis, and certification.

Requirements:

• Education: Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of billing and quantity management experience in real estate / construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of billing procedures, measurement standards, BOQs, and contract terms.
• Well-versed with standard billing formats, RA bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements.
• Hands-on experience in high-rise residential / commercial projects preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software/tools.
• Strong coordination, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple contractors.
