Job description
We are having great career opportunities for Experienced candidate's 5- 8 YRS from construction background for Quantity Survey Cum Billing Engineer willing to build their career in Quantity Survey, B&P the development of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, Candidates from anywhere in India with a Diploma/BTEC degree in Civil Engineering will be preferred.
Job Location: Manipur , None Market (Railway Tunnel Project)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
2. Design and Documentation: Prepare detailed designs, specifications, and estimates for infrastructure projects.
3. Site Investigation: Conduct site investigations to gather data for design and planning. Prepare and Process Subcontractor as well as client bill.
4. Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work schedules. Handle quantity surveys, measurements, and BOQs. Prepare and check BOQs
5. Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs. Manage site-based quantity surveying and billing
6. Manage and Prepare detailed on site Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on project drawings and specifications. Prepare and process running bills, invoices, and measurements
7. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements. Support project planning and cost control activities.
8. Ensure timely as well as accuracy in billing and documentation. Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
9. Support project planning and cost control activities. Evaluate contractor work progress and prepare progress reports for management.
10. Liaise with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control
11. Assess and process contractor and supplier claims, variations, and payments.
12. Assist in contract negotiations and preparation of tender documents.
13.Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial statements for project monitoring.
14. Conduct site visits to assess work progress and ensure compliance with project standards.
15. Prepare and maintain project cost records and documentation.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
· 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
· In-depth knowledge of project Estimation, Rate analysis and project Billing along with BBS
· Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
· Proficiency in MS Office and relevant QS software (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).
· Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
