Billing Executive

Job Summary

The Billing Executive is responsible for preparing accurate invoices, maintaining billing records, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and ensuring timely billing and collections. The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of billing processes, and basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and generate invoices as per contracts, purchase orders, or service agreements
• Verify billing data, including rates, quantities, and taxes
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and accounts teams to resolve billing discrepancies
• Ensure timely submission of invoices to clients
• Follow up on outstanding payments and support collections team
• Handle client queries related to invoices and billing statements
• Assist in month-end and year-end billing closures
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.)
• Prepare billing reports and MIS as required by management

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of billing processes and basic accounting
• Familiarity with GST and invoicing regulations
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally / ERP systems preferred)
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
