Medical Billing Specialist – Full Time – Five Valleys Urology (Missoula, MT)

Five Valleys Urology, an independent 7-provider specialty practice in Missoula, is seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle team. We are looking for someone with prior medical billing office experience who can work independently, manage accounts accurately, and communicate professionally with patients and insurance companies.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position in a stable, physician-owned private practice with excellent benefits and long-term staff.

Responsibilities

• Charge posting and payment posting in ModMed EHR/PM
• Accounts receivable follow-up and collections
• Insurance eligibility and benefit verification
• Prior authorizations (including VA and IHS when applicable)
• Patient account review and balance resolution
• Procedure cost estimates/good-faith estimates
• Chronic Care Management billing
• Work closely with the front office, scheduling, nursing, and providers

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical billing or medical collections experience required
• Experience in private practice or specialty clinic preferred
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance billing processes
• Experience with EHR / practice management billing systems (ModMed preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks daily
• Professional communication with patients, providers, and payors
