Billing Specialist

Pay: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour

Pacific West Pharmacy, a long-term care pharmacy serving facilities across California, is seeking a committed, team-oriented full-time Billing Specialist for our Rocklin office. This is a detail-driven role in a quiet, professional office setting.

What You’ll Do

• Manage facility and patient accounts; post monthly charges, credits, and adjustments
• Adjudicate prescription claims across third-party, Medicare Part A (Med-A), and private-pay billing
• Manage claim rejections, refill-too-soon issues, and prior authorizations
• Run monthly accounts receivable statements and reconcile accounts at month-end
• Complete monthly audit reviews and handle past-due account follow-up
• Respond to facility and customer billing inquiries professionally and promptly

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of pharmacy billing, medical billing, or accounts receivable / claims administration experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple deadlines
• Proficiency with Windows-based software; MS Excel preferred
• Pharmacy technicians are encouraged to apply — your billing and claims background transfers well to this role (no pharmacy tech license required for this position)

• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday
• On-site, Loomis, CA
