BIM Architect

Job Overview:
COENGR is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Architect to join our Abu Dhabi office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BIM processes, coordination, and modeling, with proven experience handling authority submissions and approvals in Abu Dhabi. The candidate should also have contributed to a variety of project types including commercial, residential, and industrial developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage Building Information Models (BIM) for architectural design across all project stages.
• Coordinate and integrate architectural models with MEP, structural, and other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi authority regulations (e.g., ADM, DMT, Estidama, Civil Defense).
• Prepare and review BIM documentation for authority submissions and ensure timely follow-up on approvals.
• Support design teams with accurate 3D modeling, clash detection, and drawing extraction.
• Maintain and apply BIM standards and protocols in line with industry and project requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical support to ensure BIM execution plans are followed.
• Contribute to the development of COENGR’s BIM libraries, templates, and workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in BIM-based architectural design and coordination.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM tools.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority procedures and requirements.
• Experience across various project types (commercial, residential, industrial) is essential.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
