Core Manufacturing Activities

• Precast concrete products and architectural elements
• Lead the detailing process and prepare all architectural shop drawings from start to finish, ensuring client requirements are met, safety and functionality are upheld, and detailed construction plans are developed using Revit.

Key Accountability Areas

• BIM Modeling and Analysis: Create detailed/shop drawings using Revit.
• Building Code Compliance: Ensure architectural shop drawings comply with relevant building codes and standards.
• Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate with other trades to resolve conflicts between civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.
• Documentation Management: Organize and maintain architectural drawings and documents, including revisions, markups, and as-built drawings.
• Detailing and Specification: Develop detailed drawings and specifications for architectural elements such as doors, windows, finishes, tiles, false ceilings, facades, and materials.
• Presentation and Visualization: Prepare presentation materials, renderings, and visualizations to communicate design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
• Quality Assurance and Review: Review architectural shop drawings and documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Construction Support: Provide support during construction by responding to RFIs, clarifying design intent, and reviewing submittals and shop drawings.
• Outsource: Review subcontractor and outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.

Role Accountability

• Detailing and Annotation: Ensure drawings are properly annotated with dimensions, notes, and symbols.
• Interpretation of Specifications: Interpret engineering specifications, sketches, and technical documents accurately.
• Drafting Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Revit for creating shop drawings efficiently and accurately.
• Documentation and Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of all drawings, revisions, and project communications.
• Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication with engineers and designers to clarify requirements and address issues.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate drawing production schedules and deadlines, strictly complying with BIM requirements.
• Quality Assurance and Review: Conduct thorough reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Shop Drawing Arrangement: Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to understand needs and generate detailed drawings.
• Interpreting Design Requirements: Translate engineering designs, sketches, and specifications into shop drawings.
• Architectural Drafting: Produce detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and other technical drawings.
• Adhering to Safety Standards: Ensure drawings comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Academic Qualification
