BIM Designer – Facade (Aluminum)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage BIM models for aluminium and glass façade systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integration.
• Generate 3D visualizations, clash detections, and model-based documentation.
• Support design and estimation teams with accurate BIM data and quantities.
• Maintain and update BIM libraries and ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide technical support to the site and fabrication teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in BIM design (facade/aluminium systems).
• Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks (BIM 360 preferred).
• Good knowledge of curtain wall, unitized, cladding, and glazing systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with parametric modeling and Revit family creation.
• Knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650) and LOD development.
• Familiarity with shop drawing automation and data extraction tools.
