The BIM Designer II is an in-office role that will be responsible for creating scaled models, drawings, and drawing packages of the design intent in Revit. This position involves coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to translate creative concepts into technically accurate drawings and models for attractions, entertainment spaces, and full park master plans. The individual in this role collaborates closely with creative, engineering, and production teams to ensure the seamless integration of design intent and technical feasibility, contributing to the successful execution of theme park, attraction, and entertainment projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Detailed Models and Coordination
    • Create and oversee the development of detailed BIM models that accurately represent both creative design and technical elements of themed entertainment projects.
    • Collaborate with show designers, ride engineers, scenic artists, and other stakeholders to integrate different modeled components into the coordinated BIM model.
    • Guide and coordinate Junior BIM Designers BIM Designer 1 in model production and standards implementation
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination and Collaboration
    • Champion interdisciplinary collaboration by managing clash detection, resolving design conflicts, and ensuring the seamless fusion of diverse creative and technical elements.
    • Collaborate with concept artists, lighting designers, audio engineers, and other specialists to ensure holistic integration of design and technology.
    • Guide and coordinate Junior BIM Designers BIM Designer 1 in coordination with different disciplines
  • Detailed Drawing and Design Package Production
    • Manage templates, standards, and common elements required for designing themed entertainment and experience products produced by Falcon’s.
    • Manage the drawing packages created from the Revit model and organize the workflow and review process for all deliverables created from the Revit Model.
    • Manage integration of documentation created outside Revit into Revit packages.
  • Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance
    • Conduct thorough reviews of BIM models to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and creative design intent.
    • Conduct regular quality checks on BIM content, model accuracy, and data integrity specific to themed entertainment projects.
    • Guide and coordinate Junior BIM Designers BIM Designer 1 in the implementation of QA/QC processes
  • Innovation and Experiential Enhancement
    • Identify innovative opportunities to leverage BIM technology for enhancing guest experiences and storytelling within themed entertainment projects.
    • Contribute creative ideas to enhance implementation of interactive, immersive and visual effects through BIM-driven solutions.
  • Documentation and Visualization
    • Assist BIM Manager with generation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation related to BIM standards, workflows, and project-specific guidelines.
    • Produce visually compelling presentations, renderings, and animations to communicate design concepts and technical details to stakeholders.


Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies and procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Themed Entertainment Design, or related field with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam Studio and other relevant BIM software.
  • Experience preferred in Rhino, Twinmotion, Sketchup, Unreal Engine, and Datasmith.
  • Extensive experience in BIM modeling and coordination within the themed entertainment industry.
  • Strong understanding of immersive experience design, show set architecture, and technical integration.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to bridge the gap between creative vision and technical implementation.
  • Familiarity with 3D visualization, rendering, and animation tools is advantageous.
  • Professional certifications related to BIM and themed entertainment are a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America.
  • Will not require Falcon’s Treehouse, LLC to commence (“sponsor”) an immigration case in order to be employed (now or in the future).


This at-will, in-office position is being hired to support a specific client project. While this role is a full-time position with Falcon's Creative Group, employment will not extend beyond the duration of the project. The assignment will conclude once the project is completed, at which time employment with Falcon's Creative Group will end. The expected project timeline is
to be determined. For avoidance of doubt, employment with Falcon’s would be at-will at all times, meaning that the employee or Falcon’s may terminate the employment at any time (including prior to the conclusion of the project).
