Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled BIM Draftsman to join our engineering and design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing accurate BIM models, preparing detailed architectural/structural drawings, coordinating with multiple disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project standards and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and manage BIM models using Revit for Architectural/Structural/MEP disciplines as required.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models based on project requirements.
• Ensure models and drawings comply with UAE authority standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve clashes and discrepancies.
• Perform clash detection and prepare coordination drawings.
• Maintain model accuracy, documentation, and version control.
• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and presentation models as needed.
• Assist in BIM implementation, standards, templates, and workflows.
• Support engineers in preparing technical inputs, schedules, and documentation.
• Attend coordination meetings and ensure timely deliverables.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architecture, or related field.
• 3–5 years of BIM drafting experience (UAE experience).
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools.
• Good knowledge of UAE authority requirements (DDA, DM, Trakhees, etc.).
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand architectural/structural/MEP drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection.
• Experience in preparing LOD 300–400 models.
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
