BIM Manager - ACS

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM Manager to lead our Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiatives within the ACS division. The ideal candidate will oversee the development, implementation, and management of BIM processes to support construction and design projects. This role requires a strong background in mechanical design, drafting, and CAD software, with a focus on delivering accurate and efficient 3D models that enhance project coordination and execution. The BIM Manager will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project standards are maintained while leveraging cutting-edge BIM technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of BIM models for various construction and engineering projects.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure BIM standards, protocols, and workflows are consistently applied.
• Oversee the integration of CAD, Revit, NavisWorks, SketchUp, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and SolidWorks into project processes.
• Manage model updates, clash detection, and coordination efforts across disciplines to minimize errors and rework.
• Develop and maintain schematics, construction drawings, and 2D animations to support project visualization and communication.
• Provide training and technical support to team members on BIM software tools and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards for drafting, schematics, mechanical design, and construction documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize workflows for drafting, modeling, and project delivery timelines.

Skills

• Proficiency in BIM software including Revit, NavisWorks, SketchUp, Civil 3D, MicroStation, AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
• Strong background in mechanical design, schematics development, drafting techniques, and CAD workflows.
• Experience in construction modeling and 2D animation for project visualization.
• Knowledge of industry standards related to BIM processes and documentation.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions in BIM technology applications.
