BIM Modeler – Electrical, HVAC & Instrumentation (Revit) – Malad

We are seeking an experienced BIM Modeler to develop coordinated Revit models for electrical power and lighting systems, HVAC electrical services, and instrumentation / ELV systems based on approved engineering designs. The role focuses on BIM modeling, coordination, clash detection, and drawing extraction, working closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver construction-ready models

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain models (LOD 300–400) from approved drawings, layouts, schematics & P&IDs.
• Model electrical systems including lighting fixtures, switches, socket outlets, DBs, SMDBs, MCCs, UPS & transformers
• Model HVAC electrical scope, including HVAC equipment placement & electrical power connections.
• Model instrumentation / ELV systems such as field instruments, junction boxes, control panels & signal cable routing.
• Develop coordinated cable tray, ladder, trunking & conduit routing for power, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Review clash detection using Navisworks & update Revit models in coordination with other disciplines.
• Extract shop drawings, coordinated layouts, sections, and details from Revit models.
• Generate BOM / BOQ and quantity take-offs from the BIM model as required.
• Support as-built modeling and revisions during construction and project close-out stages.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360 / ACC, and Navisworks for model development & coordination.
• Ensure timely submission of models and drawings and maintain proper document control as per project schedule.
• Coordinate closely with Engineers, Site teams to resolve modeling issues

Requirements:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Instrumentation or equivalent.
Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in BIM modeling using Revit.

• Experience using REVIT AutoCAD, BIM 360 / ACC, and Navisworks for model review and clash checking.
• Knowledge of HVAC electrical and instrumentation / ELV systems will be an added advantage
