BIM trainee

Key Responsibilities

As a fresher, your responsibilities usually include:

• Creating 3D BIM models based on drawings and specifications
• Assisting in MEP models (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
• Updating models as per design changes
• Producing 2D drawings (plans, sections, elevations) from BIM models
• Helping with clash detection (finding conflicts between systems like pipes and beams)
• Maintaining BIM files, layers, and naming standards
• Coordinating with senior BIM engineers and project teams
• Following company and project BIM standards

Software & Tools You May Use

Freshers are expected to have basic knowledge of:

• AutoCAD
• BIM 360 or similar collaboration tools (optional for freshers)

Skills Required

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of construction drawings
• Knowledge of BIM concepts and workflows
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings

Soft Skills

• Willingness to learn
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
• Completed a BIM course or certification

Experience

• Fresher / Entry-level (0–1 year experience)
• Training or academic project experience is acceptable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
