Bindery Operator

Second: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday-Friday, and overtime as needed.

Please note: Training will start on first shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), and once completed, the role will transition to second shift.

Intellicor is seeking a skilled Bindery Operator to join our second shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating bindery equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional printing solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain bindery equipment such as cutters, trimmers, folders, and stitchers.
• Ensure quality control throughout the bindery process by checking for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in the setup of jobs by preparing materials and adjusting machinery settings as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies used in the bindery process.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bindery Operator or similar role in a printing environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
• Familiarity with bindery equipment and processes is essential.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design principles is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good communication skills and time management abilities.
• Set up and operate binding equipment including the following: Cutter (paper, cloth), Folder (Heidelberg, Stahl, Longford), Saddle Stitcher (McCain, Heidelberg, Sheridan), Perfect Binder (16, 18), Bourg Digital Binder, Horizon Stitcher, Stamper, Mail Line, Case Maker o Case Binder, Tipper, Insignia Die Cutter, Card Folder and Bindery Trimmer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.69 - $27.71 per hour
