Job Position: Bioinformatics Scientist

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $110,000 – $140,000

About the Role

Prepaire is seeking a Bioinformatics Scientist to support and strengthen our next-generation sequencing (NGS) and multi-omics analytics. This role is critical to ensuring the robustness, scalability, and scientific rigor of our bioinformatics pipelines as we continue to expand our precision health platform.

What You’ll Do

• Design, run, and optimize NGS workflows including variant calling, QC, and annotation
• Analyze and integrate multi-omics datasets (genomics, transcriptomics, etc.)
• Manage and curate biological databases and structured datasets
• Collaborate with scientific and engineering teams to deliver clear, high-quality analytical reports
• Support continuous improvement of bioinformatics pipelines and documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with tools such as GATK, BWA, STAR
• Proficiency in R/Bioconductor and Python
• Experience working with cloud-based or scalable data pipelines
• Solid understanding of NGS data analysis best practices

Education & Experience

• MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology , or a related field
• 2–5 years of relevant industry or research experience
