Job Title: Biology and Science Teacher (Primary & O Levels)

Job Purpose:

To deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons aligned with the Cambridge O’ Level curriculum, fostering students’ academic growth, critical thinking, and scientific curiosity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Biology lessons in accordance with the Cambridge O’ Level curriculum.
• Design and implement lesson plans, assignments, and practical activities that promote active learning.
• Conduct laboratory experiments, ensuring students’ safety and effective use of lab equipment.
• Assess, record, and report on students’ progress through classwork, tests, practicals, and examinations.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate performance updates to parents as needed.
• Support students in developing exam techniques, analytical skills, and scientific inquiry methods.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessments, and school activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and parent–teacher conferences.
• Contribute to co-curricular and extracurricular science-related activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field (Science background essential).
• Prior teaching experience in O’ Levels Biology (Cambridge curriculum preferred).
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Biology and scientific learning.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies, digital tools, and lab safety practices.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position, based on school academic calendar.
• Classroom and laboratory-based teaching environment.
• Occasional extra hours for exam preparation, parent meetings, and school events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs60,000.00 per month
