Concordia University is needing an Biology Teacher at Trinity Academy who wants to be a part of this mission. The main campus (and this role) is located in Seward, Nebraska. Position Summary: This position provides instruction in Biology at a high school level, advising and mentoring of students, and maintaining communication with families of students of Trinity Academy. Must be age 19 or older. This is a part-time, stipend role.
General Duties:
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree preferred
- Established record of excellence as a teacher, pastor, or school administrator
- Academic leadership and management experience
Special Position Requirements:
- Enthusiasm for classical and Lutheran education that can be effectively conveyed in public
Active member of a congregation of The Lutheran Church- -Missouri Synod, or a church in altar and pulpit fellowship with LCMS (“partner churches”)
- Understanding of and commitment to the mission of Trinity Academy and Concordia University, Nebraska
- Proven record of integrity with a passion for academic excellence
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
- Collaborative and entrepreneurial leadership style that emphasizes openness, consultation and transparent decision making
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills

- Ability to maintain driver's certification for University provided vehicles and University-related travel; and drive a 12-passenger van.
- Must follow security policies that correspond to the level of sensitivity of the data they handle.
- Should promptly report any security concerns or incidents to designated personnel.
- Maintain security and patching of personal devices connected to the institutional email.
- Maintain high standards for institutional, staff, faculty, employee, and financial data used for business operations.
