Biomedical Engineer

Avisa Standard is a specialized distributor of medical devices, dental solutions, and premium cosmetics in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Biomedical Engineer to join our technical team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our life-saving medical equipment and dental devices are perfectly maintained and supported for our clients in both the private and government sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning: Lead the installation, testing, and calibration of new medical and dental equipment at hospitals and clinics.

Maintenance: Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and handle emergency breakdown repairs to ensure zero downtime for end-users.

Technical Support: Act as the primary technical contact for medical staff, providing on-site training and troubleshooting for specialized

Compliance: Ensure all equipment meets NHRA standards and maintain detailed service reports for government tender requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in the medical device industry (field service experience preferred).

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electronic circuits, medical imaging, or dental equipment mechanics.

Language: Fluency in English (Arabic is a must).

Driving License: A valid Bahraini driving license is mandatory for site visits.

Soft Skills: Ability to work under pressure, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-first attitude.
