Location: NYC / NJ metro — hybrid (virtual planning + on-site OR support)

Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 base + performance bonus

About Xironetic

Xironetic is redefining the operating room through augmented reality (AR) surgical navigation. Our platform delivers real-time, patient-specific guidance — overlaying critical anatomy and instrumentation in the surgeon’s field of view. We’re a fast-moving team at the intersection of surgery, biomechanics, and spatial computing.

The Role

You will own the technical workflow from patient imaging to OR execution. You’ll plan cases virtually with surgeons, segment CT/MRI data, build the patient-specific CAD plan, and provide intraoperative technical support across NYC/NJ. You are the clinical and technical point of contact for your accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead virtual case planning with surgeons; iterate trajectories and guides until sign-off.
• Segment CT/MRI studies and build patient-specific 3D models and CAD plans (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, 3-Matic, or equivalent).
• Provide on-site intraoperative technical support — setup, calibration, and real-time problem-solving in the OR.
• Cover complex cases and Go Live launches; drive utilization and unique-workflow adoption.
• Train surgeons, OR staff, Radiology, Sterile Processing, Biomed, and IT on Xironetic workflows.
• Manage the regional install base and serve as escalation point for clinical and technical issues.
• Log cases, issues, and account activity in Salesforce; feed field insight back into quality and R&D.
• Represent Xironetic at cadaver labs, trade shows, and training events.

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Biomedical, Biomechanical, Mechanical, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, or Nursing.
• 1–3 years in a technical support role, preferably at a healthcare company or hospital.
• Hands-on CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, 3-Matic, Geomagic, or Rhino).
• Experience with medical image segmentation (Mimics, 3D Slicer, Materialise, or similar).
• Working knowledge of surgical anatomy, procedures, and medical terminology.
• Resides in the NYC/NJ metro with a reliable vehicle; able to travel 50%+ within territory.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to make independent decisions in the OR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with surgical navigation, robotics, image-guided surgery, orthopedics, spine, or neuro.
• Exposure to AR/VR, 3D printing, or computer-assisted surgery platforms.
• Familiarity with FDA / ISO 13485 quality requirements.
• Existing surgeon relationships in NYC/NJ.
