About Us:

Imran Idrees Group of Companies is a leading organization operating a network of hospitals and renowned teaching institutes. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bio Medical Technician to support our Biomedical Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair medical and diagnostic equipment (e.g., patient monitors, ventilators, ECG, infusion pumps, defibrillators, suction machines, sterilizers, etc.).

- Conduct regular preventive maintenance (PM) and safety inspections of biomedical devices as per hospital maintenance schedules.

- Troubleshoot equipment faults and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.

- Maintain accurate equipment inventory, service logs, and calibration records.

- Ensure all biomedical equipment complies with healthcare safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

- Coordinate with clinical staff and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

- DAE - Diploma of Associate Engineer in Biomedical or related field (e.g. electronics, electrical Technology)

- 1-2 years of experience in a biomedical engineering or related role

- Strong computer skills (MS Office, etc.)

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Certification in Biomedical Engineering Technology (CBET)

- Experience with medical equipment and systems

- Knowledge of Pakistani medical equipment standards and regulations
