Main Purpose of Job

To provide comprehensive biomedical technical support to the business unit, including preventative maintenance and repairson medical equipment

Key Responsibility Areas

• Perform scheduled maintenance and performance assurance inspections on equipment to ensure safe and effective operating conditions
• Test and calibrate components using a variety of manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and code requirements
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies, including end user training
• Repair and replace biomedical equipment and systems
• Install and adjust a variety of biomedical and research equipment
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and act as first level support for biomedical queries

Required Education

A relevant associate degree in biomedical engineering or a related field from an accredited institution

Required Experience

At least 2 years' experience in the installation, repair, maintenance and calibration of biomedical equipment in a healthcare setting
