Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Biotech Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our sales initiatives and marketing strategies. The optimal candidate will drive B2B sales for our portfolio of antibody products and services in the greater Boston region and beyond. This is a 100% remote position for a results-oriented professional with a strong background in the biotech and life sciences industry. This role is pivotal in driving business growth through effective outside sales, management of B2B relationships, and the development of innovative marketing campaigns and social media outreach.

  • Antibodies: A vast catalog of over 10,000 ready-to-use monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, including labeled, primary, and secondary antibodies.

  • Cell Lines & Tissues: A collection of common cell lines, lysates, and tissue samples.
  • Reagents & Kits: Essential lab reagents and thousands of ready-to-use ELISA kits for various species.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to generate leads and secure new business in the Boston region.
  • Identify and engage with key prospective customers in biotech, academic, and pharmaceutical research sectors.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing the deal.
  • Utilize your existing network and market knowledge to build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional campaigns.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows (when applicable).

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of B2B sales success in the biotech, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of antibody research, cell biology, and related scientific concepts.
  • Existing knowledge of the Boston-area research landscape and potential customer base.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology) is preferred.

Compensation

This is a "base + commission" role with significant earning potential. The compensation structure is designed to reward high performance, with a total on-target earnings (OTE) of $90,000 - $110,000+.

  • Base Salary: $40,000-50,000
  • Commission: 10% on all sales generated through your efforts.
