Position Summary:

The Birthday Party Host plays a vital role in delivering an exciting, safe, and stress-free party experience for children, their friends, and family from start to finish.

Hosts are responsible for creating a welcoming environment, leading activities, assisting parents, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a memorable celebration.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the safety of the children playing or participating in all of the party activities
• Assist with setup, decorating, breakdown, and cleanup to ensure the facility is clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Represent Team85 with a positive, energetic, and customer-focused attitude.
• Interact and entertain the children by playing sports/activities of the Birthday Child’s choice.
• Manage access to the Field House and Aquatics Department, making sure only the birthday party participants can enter the designated area reserved for their party.
• Ensure waivers are completed to protect the safety of the party participants.
• Ensure that patrons adhere to Team85 Fitness and Wellness’s policies. Report disturbances and incidents to the Events Coordinator.
• Report all injuries and properly submit injury reports; notify emergency services if necessary. Report any required equipment or facility repairs to the Event Coordinator.

Qualifications:

• Friendly and outgoing with strong communication skills
• Able to pick up 45 lbs.
• Experience with children preferred ( 1+ years )
• Ability to lead groups and manage time proficiently.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work weekends.
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

Time:

4-8 hours per week/weekend
