Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems like OpenTable
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and resetting tables to prepare for new guests
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods, adhering to food safety standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale bistros
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Proven ability in upselling menu items and enhancing guest relations through attentive service
• Experience with cashiering, basic math skills for cash handling, and POS transactions
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations
• 1 year experience

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
