Bistro Server/Breakfast

  • ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

REPORTS TO: Bistro Manager

SUPERVISES: N/A

  • PURPOSE OF POSITION:
  • Responsible for set up, maintenance, cleanliness and breakdown of breakfast, dinner and bar services.
  • Follow Marriott Brand Standards.
  • SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Server Job Description. Restaurant Servers are responsible for positive Guest interactions while serving Guests in a friendly and efficient manner and play an integral role in ensuring our customers have exceptional dining experiences.
  • Bartender Job Description:Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons. Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks. Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations. Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
  • Barista Job Description: Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and cookies.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. With ease.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with fellow workers and hotel guests.
  • Neat in appearance and courteous.
  • Must be dependable and honest.
  • Keep all necessary Food Permits and certifications up to date as per Marriott standards.
  • Complete and attend all necessary online and classroom training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Bartending: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Food and Beverage Certification (Preferred)
