Blasting Laborer

Valley Rock Solutions is a drilling & blasting contractor working in Eastern Pennsylvania on commerical, warehouse and residential projects, as well as in quarries across the region. We are looking for blasting laborers to join our growing team. To be considered, you need to have at least one year of construction or landscape experience and a safety first attitude toward your work. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have experience working outdoors. A valid driver's license is required. While our market is primarily in Eastern Pennsylvania, the position will involve travelling and staying out of town at times. We have a competitive compensation package and a great work environment. Job responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

• Assist blaster with measuring and laying out shots
• Operate skid loader to put out stemming stone on the shots
• Help distribute the explosives on the shots
• Shovel the stemming stone into the holes once they are loaded
• Collect the blast hole marking cones once shot is completed and clean for next shot
• Provide traffic control for the shot when necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
