Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Feed Mill Blender Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating blending equipment to produce high-quality feed products while ensuring adherence to good manufacturing practices and safety. The ideal candidate will bring mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced production environment.

Duties

• Operate blending machinery efficiently to produce consistent feed batches according to specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance, perform routine inspections, and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in compliance with Safe Feed/Safe Food and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
• Follow precise specifications and measurement protocols using basic math skills to ensure accurate ingredient mixing.
• Conduct quality checks on blended products to verify consistency, texture, and safety standards.
• Document production data accurately and report any deviations or concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Knowledge of animal feed safety protocols including Safe Feed/Safe Food, CGMP, and sanitation practices. This is preferred buy not mandatory.
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating blending or mixing equipment. This is preferred buy not mandatory.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
