Job Summary:

Kutiyana Memon Hospital is looking for a competent and dedicated Blood Bank Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for performing blood bank procedures, ensuring safe handling of blood products, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood grouping, cross-matching, and compatibility testing
• Conduct ABO/Rh typing and antibody screening
• Ensure proper storage and handling of blood and blood products
• Maintain cold chain and monitor inventory of blood units
• Follow quality assurance (QA) protocols for equipment and reagents
• Prepare blood components (PRBC, FFP, Platelets, etc.)
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification:
• BS Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) / BS Biomedical Sciences
• OR Diploma in Blood Bank Technology (Sindh Medical Faculty)
• Experience:
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant blood bank experience
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of blood banking procedures
• Familiarity with lab equipment and QA standards
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Shift:

Morning / Evening / Rotational
