Blow Molding Operator – Job Description

Job Summary

The Blow Molding Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining blow molding machines to produce plastic containers and products according to quality, safety, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate blow molding machines (Extrusion / Injection / ISBM as applicable)
• Monitor machine performance and production output
• Perform mold changes, material loading, and basic machine adjustments
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality standards are met
• Record production data, downtime, and material usage
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical and process issues
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to meet production targets

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Blow Molding Operator
• Knowledge of plastic resins (HDPE, LDPE, PET, PP, etc.)
• Understanding of blow molding processes and machine settings
• Ability to read basic production and quality documents
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime if required
