Blow Mould Operator

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation & Setup: Operate blow molding machines (such as Sidel, KHS, Bekum, or Husky) according to production schedules. This includes conducting changeovers, setting machine parameters, and ensuring proper preform feeding.
• Quality Control & Inspection: Regularly inspect finished bottles for defects such as improper weight, wall thickness, contamination, or distortion. Adjust machine settings via HMI (Human Machine Interface) screens to correct defects.
• Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication) and minor mechanical repairs to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot issues related to heating, blowing, and ejection.
• Documentation & Reporting: Accurately maintain production logs, including downtime, material usage, and quality check results.
• Safety & Sanitation: Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety protocols, and safety regulations (PPE, confined space).
• Material Handling: Load raw materials (preforms/resins) into hoppers and manage scrap/regrind materials.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing, with strong preference for experience in food/beverage or plastics industries.
• Technical Skills: Mechanical aptitude, ability to read technical manuals, proficiency in using tools, and understanding of pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand/walk for long periods, work in a wet environment, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer proficiency, and effective communication skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Production Volume: Meeting hourly/shift bottle production targets.
• Machine Efficiency: Maximizing uptime while minimizing downtime and scrap rates.
• Quality Standards: Ensuring 100% compliance with product specifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
