BLVCK MRKT Brand Ambassador

BLVCK MRKT is seeking energetic and outgoing Brand Ambassadors to represent our brand at dispensaries across Maryland. Ambassadors support in-store pop-ups, product education, and customer engagement while helping build meaningful relationships with both customers and budtenders.

This is a paid, flexible role ideal for individuals who enjoy connecting with people, creating engaging content, and representing an innovative cannabis brand.

BLVCK MRKT products are currently available in 100+ dispensaries across Maryland, including locations throughout Baltimore, Central Maryland, Western Maryland, Southern Maryland, and the Eastern Shore.

Ambassadors travel to partner dispensaries to support in-store activations, brand education, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Represent BLVCK MRKT at dispensary pop-ups and promotional activations
• Engage with customers and budtenders to educate them about our products
• Support brand awareness through authentic conversations and product education
• Create occasional social media content highlighting the brand and store experience
• Assist with event setup, brand materials, and product displays
• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions about products
• Share feedback from customers and stores with the BLVCK MRKT team

Compensation

• $21–22 per hour for in-store activations
• Most shifts are 2 hours ($42)
• $20 gas stipend per visit
• Up to $10 performance bonus for driving engagement or sign-ups

Most ambassadors typically visit two stores per day, with total potential earnings of ~$70–75 per visit.

This is a 1099 contractor role, and ambassadors are responsible for their own transportation and taxes.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be willing to drive up to 1–2 hours to dispensary locations across Maryland
• Must maintain clear and timely communication with the BLVCK MRKT team
• Must be reliable, punctual, and organized when attending activations
• Must have an active Instagram account and be comfortable creating social content
• Must be comfortable engaging with customers and budtenders in a retail environment
• Must be available for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualities

• Passion for cannabis culture, education, and advocacy
• Experience as a content creator, influencer, or social media storyteller
• Comfortable discussing strains, terpenes, and cannabis products
• Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
• Interest in brand marketing, events, and community engagement
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, event marketing, or cannabis industry is a plus

Pay: $21.00 per hour
