Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning process of complex electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring that all components are functioning correctly and efficiently. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, system design, and project management, along with proficiency in various engineering software and tools.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Develop and implement project schedules to meet deadlines while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Perform root cause analysis on system failures and implement corrective actions to enhance system reliability.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation for designing schematics and layouts of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure proper assembly of PCBs and SoCs, applying knowledge of surface mount technology.
- Engage in debugging processes using tools such as oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, and vision inspection systems.
- Create detailed documentation for system designs using MATLAB, Python, C++, and other scripting languages as necessary.
- Provide support in the development of firmware for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other embedded systems.
- Assist in the integration of FPGA designs into larger systems while ensuring adherence to NEC standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design principles and practices.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, MicroStation.
- Experience with FPGA programming and debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with signal processing concepts and tools.
- Understanding of quantum engineering principles is a plus.
- Knowledge of project scheduling methodologies and tools.
- Hands-on experience with soldering techniques and surface mount technology assembly processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
