BMS Engineer

Key Responsibilities ( Inside Kuwait Only ):

1- Design and Implementation :

• Design and configure BMS control systems for HVAC, lighting, and other automated building functions.
• Ensure systems are integrated with other building services and meet operational requirements.

2- System Installation and Commissioning :

• Oversee or assist in the installation of BMS equipment.
• Commission and calibrate systems to ensure they meet design specifications and performance standards.

3- System Maintenance :

• Perform regular system checks, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Update software and firmware, ensuring all systems function effectively and efficiently.

4- Monitoring and Optimization :

• Monitor building systems to ensure they operate efficiently and make adjustments as necessary to optimize performance.
• Analyze energy usage data and implement energy-saving strategies.

5- Technical Support and Troubleshooting :

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BMS-related issues.
• Respond to system alarms, faults, or failures to restore system operation promptly.

6-Client Interaction :

• Work closely with clients to understand their building management requirements.

7-Documentation and Reporting :

• Create detailed reports on system performance, energy usage, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all BMS documentation is updated and maintained, including system diagrams and operation manuals.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency : Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, control ,electrical systems, and automation technology & clasic control.
• Programming : Familiarity with BMS software platforms .
• Problem-Solving : Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Communication : Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff and collaborate with other engineering teams.
• Certifications : Relevant certifications such as in HVAC systems, control systems, or specific BMS software are often required.

Education:

• Typically, a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Engineering,
