BMS Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) for alarms and alerts related to HVAC, lighting, electrical, water, fire, and other integrated systems
• Operate and adjust system parameters based on real-time requirements or as per instruction from the engineering team
• Respond promptly to system alarms, identify root causes, and escalate unresolved issues to relevant departments
• Log and record BMS events, faults, and system performance data accurately
• Assist in routine and preventive maintenance schedules related to BMS and associated building systems
• Coordinate with MEP, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues
• Ensure optimal energy usage through continuous monitoring and adjustment of system setpoints
• Maintain a safe and secure control room environment and ensure data confidentiality
• Participate in system testing, upgrades, and new equipment commissioning
• Report anomalies, incidents, and system faults to the BMS Engineer or Supervisor

Requirements:

• Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field
• 3–5 years of proven experience operating BMS systems in large facilities (UAE/GCC experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of BMS software platforms such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, Tridium, or Johnson Controls
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical systems, chillers, pumps, and fire alarm integration
• Ability to read technical drawings and system schematics
• Basic troubleshooting skills related to BMS alarms and subsystems
• Good communication and reporting skills (English required; Arabic is a plus)
