BMS Site Engineer

Job Summary:

The BMS Site Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS) at the project site. The role involves coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure that BMS systems are installed and function according to specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee BMS installation activities on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with MEP teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure proper integration of BMS with HVAC, lighting, fire safety, and other building systems.
• Perform configuration, programming, and commissioning of BMS components including controllers, sensors, actuators, and software.
• Read and interpret BMS drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve BMS-related issues during installation and commissioning phases.
• Conduct site inspections and testing of systems to verify functionality and performance.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations and project timelines are met.
• Provide technical support and training to site technicians and end-users.
• Prepare documentation such as daily progress reports, testing & commissioning reports, and as-built drawings.
• Interface with consultants and clients during inspections and project handovers.

Requirements:Education:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in BMS system installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience with BMS platforms such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, or similar.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of BMS architecture and protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, etc.)
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and control systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and control schematics.
• Experience with BMS software tools and interfaces.

• Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
