Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Service Lot Technician to join our Service Department team at Gebhardt BMW. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining the professional appearance of our service drive and facility, ensuring every customer vehicle is handled with care and returned in pristine condition. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting our Service Advisors and technicians through excellent vehicle preparation and facility presentation.
Responsibilities

Wash, vacuum, and clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to dealership standards, ensuring every customer vehicle is spotless and presentationready prior to pickup.

Move and stage customer vehicles promptly upon checkin to designated service bays or staging areas, and return completed vehicles to the customer pickup area.

Apply floor mat protection and seat covers to vehicles entering the service department as required.

Fuel, wash, and inspect loaner vehicles between customer uses, ensuring they are staged and ready at the start of each day.

Maintain a clean and organized service drive, wash bay, and facility throughout the entire day — not just at opening and closing.

Clean entrance windows, doors, and all customerfacing areas daily to reflect BMW brand and luxury dealership standards.

Pick up trash and remove debris from grounds, parking areas, curbs, and common areas throughout the shift.

Perform snow removal from the service drive and facility entrances when required.

Report any vehicle damage, mechanical concerns, or safety hazards to the appropriate Service Advisor or manager immediately.

Secure and lock all customer vehicles remaining on the lot at end of shift and complete closing procedures.

Operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles safely and responsibly.

Monitor and communicate cleaning supply inventory needs to management.

Assist Service Advisors and technicians with tasks as directed and perform other duties as assigned to support dealership operations.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR) is required.

Ability to work Saturdays on a rotating basis and holidays when the dealership is open.

Strong attention to detail with pride in producing quality work.

Reliable, punctual, and teamoriented with an excellent work ethic.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow.

Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual labor throughout the entire shift, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Previous experience in automotive, detailing, valet, or customerfacing roles is preferred.

Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles; manual transmission experience is a plus.

Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
